Sending a Proof using Custom Workflow
This article is intended to guide the proof senders in using the custom workflow when sending a proof.

Before proceeding, please ensure that you are familiar with Sending a Proof - The Basics.

Step 1.

Select the Custom workflow option in the Send Proof Wizard.

Step 2.

When in the Choose Workflow section, select the Name of the customised workflow you need to use for this Client.

Note: If this is the first time you are using this custom workflow template, you will see that the default version is Original. The template shows exactly as what your Admin has created.

Note: If you are using the same custom workflow template for the next version of your proof, you will see that the default version is Most Recent (This Proof). This means that it has been used before for this proof and may or may not have workflow changes previously. The template will also show the stage completion history of the previous version to help you decide which starting stage to send the next proof version into.

Note: If you are using the same custom workflow template but for a different proof, you will see that the default version is Most Recent . This means that it has been used before for a different proof on either the same client or a different client. It may or may not have workflow changes as well depending on the last time it was used.

Step 3.

If the Custom Workflow you have selected has been given User Permissions to Add, Edit and/or Remove users when it was created by the Admin, you will have the enabled options available when you expand each stage.

Step 4.

When you are ready, click on the Next button and then click on the Send Proof button when you are in the Summary section.

Reminder: When sending a proof via the File Uploader option, it will look slightly different from sending via the GoProof extension. Steps 2, 3 and 4 are all in the same section called Share your Proof and instead of the Send Proof button, you will find the Send and View Proof button near the bottom of the page.
