Reviewing a Web Proof
This article is intended to assist you in using the GoProof Web proofing browser extension to review your web proof.

Before proceeding, please make sure that you are familiar with Reviewing a proof - the basics.

GoProof Web proofing browser extension

Step 1.

If this is the first time you are reviewing a Web proof, you will see the Install browser extension message. Click Install and you will be taken to the Chrome Web Store in a new tab/window.

Note: If your browser is currently not supported for web proofing, you will see the appropriate message.

Step 2.

Add the GoProof Web Proofing Extension to your browser.

Step 3.

Once you have added the extension, go back to your proof and reload the page.

Viewing the Web Proof

Step 1.

Click on the View Proof button and the website page(s) you will be reviewing is displayed in our Snapshot window.

Step 2.

Go to the page or section you wish to review and use the options in the Snapshot toolbar to capture the website area you wish to add a comment on. Click the on Save button to do so.

Pro tip: Click on the Desktop icon to see what the website looks like on different screen surfaces. You can also use the Window button to capture either the whole window or a selected area.

That's it! The snapshots are added to the web proof. The collaborator adds their comments in the normal way using the 11+ proofing tools, scribbling, highlighting, striking and @mentioning their fellow reviewers in a productive, open creative collaboration to take the work through to final version and approval.
