Managing your licenses

Managing your licenses can help ensure that your licenses are being used effectively by your users and to its full potential.

There are four main reasons for managing users:
  1. To add new users who will need access to Oppolis Cloud and allocate the unassigned licenses to their account.
  2. To remove users who no longer need access to Oppolis Cloud and un-assign their license.
  3. To transfer licenses between users.
  4. To change the user roles.
To manage your users:
  • On the top-right corner, you'll find your account name. Click on it and you should see the Licenses option, provided you are the Admin of the accounts.
  • Click on the Licenses option to be redirected to the subscription page.

Add new users

  • From the licenses page, click on the Add a user button.
  • The Add User window should appear.
  • Enter their Full Name (their account name), Email address and Oppolis Cloud Role.
  • Click on the Add button to confirm.

Note: The license status of your newly added user will be displayed as Active if you have licenses available to be assigned. If the licenses status is showing as Pending, you will either need to update your subscription to purchase additional licenses or to transfer a license from other users.

Remove existing users

  • From the licenses page, click on the Role dropdown menu for the user you wish to remove.
  • Select the Unassign user option from the dropdown menu.
  • Once done, the license status for the unassigned user will be displayed as Disabled.

Note: Any licenses from unassigned users will be removed which can then be assigned to another user.

Transfer user licenses

  • From the licenses page, choose the user you wish the remove the license from by changing their role as Unassign user and to change its license status to Disabled.

If you are transferring the license to an existing user and the license status is currently Pending, it should now update to Active.

If you are transferring the license to an existing user and the license status is Disabled, click on the Role dropdown to select his role and the license will be assigned to this user.

If you are transferring the license to new user, use the Add a user button and once done, the license will be automatically assigned to this user.

Change user roles

  • From the licenses page, click on the Role dropdown menu for the user you wish to change.
  • You can select from any of the following options: Admin, Member, Guest and Unassign user.
