Create a template from an existing issue
The ability to create templates from an existing issue simplifies the planning process by enabling users to quickly replicate effective layouts. This feature saves time, ensures consistency across issues, and helps maintain a cohesive design while easily accommodating new content or updates.

To create a template issue for your selected publication,

  1. From the Issues tab, click on the ellipsis button of your chosen issue.
  2. Select the "Save As" option and complete the following details:
    1. Issue name. Give the issue a name (use alpha-numeric, dashes and underscores only)
    2. Issue number. This is optional and you can enter one at creation or later on by editing the issue.
    3. Volume number. This is optional and you can enter one at creation or later on by editing the issue.
    4. Publishing date. This is optional and you can enter one at creation or later on by editing the issue. When completed, this places the issue in chronological order within the issues list.
  3. Click on the Save button once done.
