Creating and Managing Story Baskets

This article is intended to guide you on how to manage story baskets and its users for an efficient GoCopy workflow.

This feature is only available to Publisher users.

Before proceeding, ensure you are familiar with Accessing the GoProof extension in the Adobe Apps.

Accessing the basket

Step 1.
Open the GoProof extension panel, click on the Menu icon on the top-right corner and select Manage Baskets.

Note: You can also access the Manage Baskets option when sending your stories in the Send Stories Wizard.

Step 2.
A browser window will automatically open and log you into your GoProof account showing the Baskets page.

Creating a Basket and assigning users

Step 1.
From the Baskets page, select New Basket, enter the basket details and click Create Basket. It will then appear in the basket list once created.

Step 2.
Select your basket from the list, select Add users, select the user(s) you want to be a member for your selected basket in the window and click Add.

Assigning users to multiple baskets

Step 1.
From the basket page, click on the double chevron button to go to the Manage Basket Users page.

Step 2.
From this view, select a user to view the basket they are a member of.

Step 3.
To assign more baskets to your selected user, select Join Basket, select the basket(s) in the window and click Add.

Enabling/Disabling basket notifications

  • For new baskets, select or unselect the Notify Members of New Content checkbox to enable or disable the basket notifications.

  • For existing baskets, select the pencil icon to edit the basket. Select or unselect the Notify Members of New Content checkbox to enable or disable the basket notifications.

  • An alternative to editing the existing baskets, click on the notifications icon when viewing the basket list. The icon colour will be green if the notification option is enabled while it shows red if the notification option is disabled.

Removing user(s) from a Basket

Step 1.
From the baskets page, select a basket from the list to show the users assigned to it.

Step 2.
Find the user(s) you want to remove by clicking on its Bin/Trash can icon.

Step 3.
When prompted to confirm the removing of the user from the basket, click Remove.

Step 1.
From the basket page, click on the double chevron button to go to the Manage Basket Users page.

Step 2.
Select a user to show the basket(s) they are a member of.

Step 3.
Find the basket(s) you want to remove by clicking on its Bin/Trash can icon.

Step 4.
When prompted to confirm the removing of the user from the basket, click Remove.

Deleting Baskets

Step 1.
From the baskets page, find the basket you want to delete and click the Bin/Trash can icon.

Step 2.
Choose the option that best suits your needs and select Deactivate.
